If I were you, I would study every evening.
• YOU OUGHT TO + verb (moral advice, similar to should)

📝 Dialogue — Asking for and giving advice:
Ibou: I'm really stressed about the exams. What should I do?
Fatou: You should make a study timetable. If I were you, I would start revising now.
Ibou: But I don't know where to begin.
Fatou: Why don't you start with your weakest subjects? You shouldn't leave everything to the last minute.
Ibou: You're right. Should I study alone or with a group?
Fatou: I think you ought to study alone first, then compare your answers with friends.
Ibou: Great advice! Thank you.
