Why is access to education unequal worldwide?
Correction
Access to education is unequal due to: (1) economic poverty — families cannot afford school fees, uniforms, or books; (2) geographical barriers — rural communities lack schools and qualified teachers; (3) gender discrimination — girls in some regions are expected to marry or work rather than study; (4) conflict and displacement — wars force children out of school; (5) disability — schools may not accommodate students with special needs.
How is technology changing education?
Correction
Technology is transforming education through: online learning platforms (Coursera, Khan Academy, YouTube), digital textbooks and e-readers, distance learning that reaches remote areas, interactive tools that make learning more engaging, AI tutors that personalise learning. However, the digital divide means that students without internet access are left behind.
How can young people drive social change?
Correction
Young people can drive social change by: (1) using social media to raise awareness and organise movements; (2) voting and engaging in civic processes; (3) creating NGOs and community projects; (4) pursuing careers in public service, law, medicine, and education; (5) innovating with technology to solve local problems. Examples: Malala's education advocacy, Greta Thunberg's climate activism, youth-led civic movements in West Africa.
