Exercices Corrigés
What is the best strategy for answering reading comprehension questions at BAC level?
Correction
(1) Read the questions first to know what information to look for. (2) Skim the text for the general idea, then scan for specific answers. (3) For vocabulary questions, use context clues — look at the words around the unknown word. (4) Answer in complete sentences using your own words — avoid copying whole sentences from the text. (5) Support your answers with evidence from the text when asked.
What grammar points are most often tested at BAC Anglais 1ère?
Correction
The most tested grammar points are: passive voice (transformation from active), reported speech (direct to indirect), conditional sentences (Types 1, 2, 3), modal verbs (must, should, might, can), tense review (Present Perfect vs. Past Simple), relative clauses (who, which, whose), and word formation (prefixes, suffixes). Master the form AND the use of each structure.
How do you write a successful production ecrite for the BAC?
Correction
(1) Plan before you write — spend 5 minutes on an outline (introduction, 2-3 arguments, conclusion). (2) Write a clear thesis statement in the introduction. (3) Develop each argument in a separate paragraph with examples. (4) Use linking words for cohesion (however, furthermore, therefore). (5) Write a conclusion that restates your main point. (6) Leave 5 minutes to proofread — check spelling, verb tenses, subject-verb agreement. (7) Aim for 150-200 words — count and adjust.
